JNEC is committed to providing safe and reliable electricity to our members, while doing our part to limit the transmission of the COVID-19 virus. The cooperative will continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 virus outbreak and take steps in accordance with the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to protect the health of our community. 

We want to do everything we can to keep our members, employees and our communities safe, while still providing reliable power. We are asking people to limit the face-to-face interaction between our employees and the public.  We regret any inconvenience this may cause you, but this proactive step is to protect the health of our employees and our members during the COVID-19 virus pandemic. Therefore, we are requesting the following:

  • All account-related business be conducted over the phone or email (, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • You may also review account information or pay your bill free of charge by logging into your account through My.JNEC  (
  • Use our automated phone system to review account information or make a payment.

We are also taking precautions in our offices, including education about the virus and prevention through hand washing and intensified cleaning, heightened monitoring for symptoms of COVID-19.
